General Meeting Tuesday May 1st

General Meeting to be held at the Pickwick May 1st, 6:00. The evenings sponser will be Valley Imports out of Fargo, Mick Petig will be joining us for dinner. Call Mick if you have any import orders close to that time, so he can make delivery arrangements in combo with the NCBA meeting if thats convenient for anyone.

General meeting was held at the Shack in Superior.
We discussed possible training events, maby another estimating seminar and upcoming training for technicians. Chad from Johnsons Supply has agreed to do our required annual fit testing so watch this space for further updates on that. Membership is down as you can see. If you get a chance, encourage any non members to join and participate. Some shops have been doing some headlight buffing with good results so products and methods were discussed. Food was good so was the service, the meeting broke up around 8pm

Just stuff and updates

You may have noticed we have more Associate Members than Body Shop Members. I've reminded everyone multiple times. If our sponsores can get their dues in on time I dont feel I need to follow shop owners around to get them to send their payment. Anyone that wishes to continue to participate in our organization will have to submit payment now.





Had a good turnout for the Holiday party as always. Everyone had a good time and Greysolon Plaza \ Blackwoods did a wonderful job hosting the event. Thanks Jax Eisenmann for the party planning. NCBA Associate Members donated some great prizes as well as $50 and $100 bills. There were 2 grand prizes, 4 tickets to a Twins game donated by Johnsons Supply and won by Todd Paulson, and the NCBA popped for a flat screen TV that Barb Maki won.





NCBA holiday time donations this year went to Duluth Courage Center $250, 2nd Harvest Food Shelf $250, NW Community Services (food shelf in Superior) $250 and ALS $250.

Upcoming board meeting on Tuesday Feb. 7 will be held at the Drydock on the Midway Rd.

Holiday Party Greysolon Plaza Moorish Room

The January 20 holiday party is for all paid 2011 members. I sent out a fax today 1/10/12 as a invitation and reminder to RSVP to Jody at Uncle Dunbars ASAP 218-722-1050. Social hour starts at 6, dinner to follow, and the evenings entertainment will be a professional magician.
The board decided to skip the January General Meeting due to the fact we would have an opportunity to go over anything when we're all together for the Holiday Party.

Our next general meeting will be at Proctor Blackwoods, Tuesday November 1st @6:00 pm. Bob Schmidt from Inver Grove Parts Sales will sponsor the evenings meal, and our topic will be voting for Board Members.
